Registration for all classes is April 10 - May 26.

Classes will be held June 12 - June 29, 2017 (Monday-Thursday)
Section 1 - 7:30-11:00 a.m. / Section 2 - 11:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

A non-refundable registration fee of $25 is required. You must select the registration fee before registering for a class.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I register?
Registration will take place April 10th thru May 26th, 2017. Registration will be first-come, first-served, as classes fill up quickly. Registration and payment for all courses will be submitted through http://canyons.revtrak.net.

How much does it cost?
There is a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $25, which will cover any of the courses listed and a course fee.

Course fees are as follows:
Credit card and check payments will be accepted. No refunds will be issued for registration fees. After the first day of class (June 20) no refunds will be issued for either the registration fee or course fees. Students requiring a fee waiver, or who may qualify for certain accommodations through the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, will be assisted. We also will provide extra assistance to English Language Learners, refugees, migrants, etc.

What is the format for the 2017 summer semester?
A blended-learning format will be utilized for all summer semester courses. Blending refers to a mix of face-to-face and online learning. For the weeks of June 12 and June 19, students will be required to attend courses at Mount Jordan Middle School. Approximately 40 percent of the course content will be delivered online. All online course work must be completed by Thursday, June 29.

Classes will take place at Mount Jordan Middle School, 9351 S. Mountaineer Lane, Sandy, 84070.

What is the attendance policy?
Due to the condensed scheduling of the summer semester, a strict attendance/tardy policy is mandatory. Students are allowed up to one absence and two tardies per course. If the attendance/tardy policy is violated, students will not receive a passing grade for the course, regardless of the reason. Please note: there will NOT be school on Fridays.

Student Discipline Policy
Summer sessions are very short and the opportunity to take summer semester courses is a privilege therefore student behavior problems and disruptions will not be tolerated in the classroom or on the school campus. Students who participate in disruption maybe expelled from the summer semester.

Who can take summer semester courses?
Students enrolling in 9th-11th grades for the 2017-2018 school year. Out-of-District students are welcome to register, as well.
